Employment Agency

This concept is based on the ILO convention Number 181 of 1997. Article 1(b) of this convention defines Private employment agency as any natural or legal person, independent of the public authorities, which provides services consisting of employing workers with a view to making them available to a third party, who may be a natural or legal person (referred to as a “user enterprise”) which assigns their tasks and supervises the execution of these tasks. The same is covered under Labour Institutions Act, 2007 of Kenya Part V11 Sec 55-60.

-Preparation of the payroll and administration of salaries and wages.

-Deduction and remittance of statutory deductions to the various statutory bodies and filing relevant returns.
